Contracts and Service Level Agreements
I have over 20 years of experience working in early years settings and mainstream schools, both for the NHS and independently.
Services on offer are bespoke to each school, entirely flexible and based on your needs using the 3 Tier Model. Schools can hire me for regular sessions, or for 1 off services, such as to complete assessments, write reports, deliver a block of therapy and provide training on specific interventions.
School and Early Years settings contracts are available in areas of West Yorkshire including Calderdale, Airedale and Bradford, as well as Oldham.
Services as part of a Service Level Agreement include:
Detailed specialist assessment and advice for children presenting with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs (SLCN)
Setting up individual and group therapy sessions, with hands on training for staff and parents/carers
Training for EYFS on early identification and early intervention of SLCN using evidence based tools
Training for staff on evidence based interventions to use within the classroom/small groups
Support for bilingual/multilingual children and helping settings to identify when there is an underlying SLCN
Termly and yearly reports on an individual’s progress and the use of TOM’s (Therapy Outcome Measures) to measure long-term impact of the service on a child’s wellbeing
Providing comprehensive and accessible reports
Contribution to EHCP requests
Attending meetings such as Annual Reviews
Training for the school on whole school interventions
Able to provide diagnosis of Developmental Language Disorder and Speech Sound Disorders as well as advise on when to refer to other agencies
Flexibility on the number of sessions and a “pay for what you get” service
A designated speech and language therapist who is also a trained Forest School Leader and can deliver therapy outdoors
